Often referred to as the tumble weed of the ocean, Wandering Anemones are quite different from the ones you would more commonly find attached to the reefs. They’re often found stagnant, and in a ball-like shape amongst kelp or rocks, but come alive at night time to hunt and feed.
 
This particular one was presenting predatory behaviour mid afternoon, and was a sensational sight to see in action.
